A. Purpose:

The purpose of the First Article Process (FAP) is to establish the requirement for both RISESUN and its OEM/ODM customer for the following items for all configured products:  

1.Establishes  OEM/ODM customer approved product configuration baseline.  It consists of defined part numbers and revision from packaging level to reflect functional change history of the product (described in Matrix Table below).  

　

2.   Defines a list of items and documents required in the finished product prior to release for volume production (describe in Generic Attachment below).  

3.Defines package labeling information requirements on unit box and master carton.

 

　

B. Policy & Procedures:

Generic Attachment - It serves, as checklist of things need to be done in order to release and to ship a product.  It also gives both RISESUN and its OEM/ODM customer an understanding of the custom-made parts need to be included in packaging level.

 

New Product Introduction - When launching a new product, RISESUN will send a preliminary First Article Process (FAP) to OEM/ODM customer. It will indicate either RISESUN or OEM/ODM customer is responsible to complete the job. The responsible party needs to fill in the date that the job is expected to be done. Both RISESUN and its OEM/ODM customer are required to review the FAP, regularly to make sure all necessary documents complete before First OEM/ODM Customer Ship (FCS) date.  

OEM/ODM customer is willing to adapt to RISESUN’s manufacturing process as much as possible. RISESUN is encouraged to inform OEM/ODM customer the most suitable location for the applicable product for items such as bar-code label, packaging boxes, box label, etc…OEM/ODM customer will review and approve or make suggestion accordingly.
